Most guitar students are capable of far more than they think. The problem is rarely a lack of talent or determination—it's a lack of direction. With so much information available online, it's easier than ever to learn songs, scales, and techniques. Yet many players still find themselves frustrated, jumping from one lesson to the next without ever developing a clear understanding of how the instrument truly works.

I have been playing jazz, blues, rock and pop for over 14 years and have been both self taught, and under the guide of gifted teacher. Can you guess which situation help to accelerate my understanding and playing ability exponentially?

It’s really my greatest wish in all this, to provide to others a clear foundation of music, the fundamentals of the guitar itself & how one relates to the other. It’s my wish to show you where the real engines of music are to be found; movement, harmony etc. From 2 note power chords, to triads, to 4 and 5 note chords. Scales and soloing concepts, as well as exercises to get your fingers, the fretboard, and your ear, to all start working together!

At Nicholas Guitar School, together, we'll start with the fundamental building blocks and gradually develop them into more sophisticated sounds, all while understanding why music works the way it does. The result is not just a you being a better guitar player, but a more confident, creative, and self-sufficient musician.
